You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from HomeoDaktar at any time. This page explains how the process works and what to expect.

What gets deleted

When we process your deletion request, we permanently remove:

• Your account profile (name, email, mobile, address, date of birth)

• Your login credentials

• Your appointment history and chat messages

• Your medical records, prescriptions, and uploaded reports stored under your account

• Any payment metadata linked to your account (we do not store full card numbers)

What we are legally required to retain

Some information must be retained for legal, regulatory, or accounting reasons even after your account is deleted. This may include:

• Anonymised transaction records for tax and audit purposes (no longer linked to your name)

• Records that we are required to keep under Bangladesh laws on healthcare and finance

• Logs needed to detect fraud or comply with a court order

These records are stored securely and are never used to identify or contact you after deletion.

How to submit a deletion request

Choose any one of the following options:

Option 1 — In-app (fastest):

1. Log in to your HomeoDaktar account.

2. Go to Profile → Account → Delete My Account.

3. Confirm with the OTP we send to your registered email/mobile.

Option 2 — By email:

Send an email to support@homeodaktar.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request — [Your Full Name]". Include your registered email, registered mobile number, and the reason (optional).

What happens next

• Within 48 hours we will acknowledge your request.

• Within 30 days we will complete the deletion and send a final confirmation.

• After deletion, you cannot recover the account or any data within it. If you wish to use HomeoDaktar again, you will need to register as a new user.

If you change your mind

You can cancel the deletion request anytime within the first 48 hours by writing to support@homeodaktar.com. After that window the deletion is irreversible.
